Earl Jackson “Jack” Bryant, 86, died on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City. He was born Sept. 30, 1932, to Emily Bryant (Jackson) and Roy Bryant in Denver. He married Irene Murmuraki on Sept. 3, 1959, in Denver.

Jack proudly served his country as a medic for the U.S. Army in the Korean War. Before retirement, he worked as a surveyor for the City of Garden City.

He is survived by by his wife, Irene Bryant of the home; a daughter, Barbara Bryant-Wells of Garden City; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Jack’s family honored his wish by donating his body to the University of Kansas Medical Center’s Willed Body Program.
