Martha Rincones, 68, died May 27, 2019, at her home in Garden City.
She was born to Juan and Julia (Guebara) Andrada in Ropesville, Texas, on July 5, 1950.
Her family moved to Deerfield in the 1960s. She met her future husband, Ray Rincones, in 1968 at the Big Pool in Garden City and they were married the next year on June 27.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Lupe Andrada, Alfred Andrada and Margarita Andrada.
She is survived by her husband; siblings, Antonia Rodriguez, of Amarillo, Texas, John Andrada, of Guymon, Okla., Rosa Rodriguez, of Yukon, Okla., Rebecca Rodriguez, of Garden City, Betty Andrada, of Garden City, Sammy Andrada, of Austin, Alberta Andrada, of Fort Worth, Texas, Melda Montanez, of Garden City, and Anita Mata, of Amarillo; children, Joe Rincones, of Garden City, Jacqueline Perez, of Miami, and Alfred Rincones, of Garden City; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Fellowship Baptist Church in Garden City. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, with family present from 5 to 8 p.m., at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City. Family suggests memorials to the ABC Pregnancy Care Center in care of the funeral home. Condolences may be posted to www.garnandfuneralhomes.com.
