Juan Pablo Moreno, 92, died Saturday, May 18, 2019, in Bartlesville, Okla.

He was born July 12, 1926, in Hivenia, Coahuila, Mexico, to Esiquio and Maria Manrique De Moreno.

After moving to Garden City in 1966, he worked for various employers, including Farmland Beef, and the City of Garden City.

On Aug. 6, 1949, he married Elva Garza Moreno in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico. She survives.

Other survivors include six children, Juan Jose Moreno, of Garden City, Jesus Garza Moreno, of Augusta, Juan Pablo Moreno, of Wichita, Marco Antonio Moreno and Aaron Garza Moreno, of Garden City, and Norma Icela Plummer, of Bartlesville; a sister, Maria Barbara Moreno de Reyes of Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico; 27 grandchildren; and 38 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 11 siblings; two sons, Jose Guadalupe Moreno and JoseLouis Moreno; and one grandson, Caleb James Moreno.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City.

Visitation will be 1 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Price and Sons Funeral Home.
