David Jantz, 68, of Syracuse, died Monday, May 6, 2019, at Swedish Medical Center in Englewood, Colo.
He was born Nov. 3, 1950, in Syracuse to Herman and Agatha (Reimer) Jantz.
He attended Syracuse High School. Later, he acquired farm ground and became the owner of DJ Farms, retiring in 2017. David and his wife, Joanice Jantz, were married 42 years.
He is survived by his wife of the home; daughters, Alicia Hinkle of Dumas, Texas, and Kimberly Cashler of Syracuse; brother, Earl Jantz of Piedmont, Okla.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the First Christian Church in Syracuse. Interment will follow in the Syracuse Cemetery.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to service time Friday at the church.
