MaryLou Jackson, 76, died Friday, April 5, 2019, at Morton County Hospital in Elkhart.

She was born Sept. 6, 1942, in Garden City to Gerold and Marjie (Renner) Crook.

She married Stanley A. Jackson on April 14, 1961, in Garden City.

She graduated from Garden City High School in 1960.

She was a crop insurance agent for the Gordon O’Dell Agency. After retiring, she and Stanley moved to Satanta. She enjoyed volunteering in the kitchen at Jennie Barker Elementary School, sewing, quilting and cooking.

She was preceded in death by her father, Gerold Crook; and a brother, Jay Crook.

She is survived by her husband of the home in Satanta; two sons, Brad K. and wife Darla J. Jackson of Satanta, and Bret L. Jackson and wife Marvella Smith of Phoenix; mother, Marjie Crook of Garden City; a brother, Ron Crook of Garden City; two sisters, Vivian Huelskamp of Minneola, and Rhonda Magnison of Ulysses; six grandsons; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Valley View Cemetery in Garden City.
