SYRACUSE — Lorraine Maune, 85, died Thursday, Feb. 21, 2019, in Lakin.

She was born April 12, 1933, to Richard Stinchcomb and Frances (Madison) Stinchcomb.

She grew up in Syracuse and attended Syracuse High School.

She married Marvin Maune on Feb. 4, 1951.

They moved north of Kendall to farm and ranch in 1956 and lived there until 1969, when they purchased a home in Syracuse. When they retired in 1997, they moved to Colorado City, Colo.

She is survived by three sons, Mikeal Maune, Matt Maune and Marvin D. Maune Jr.; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; her daughter, Linda Ivey; three brothers, Richard Stinchcomb, Ross Stinchcomb, and Keith Stinchcomb; and two sisters, Norma Stinchcomb and Helen Stinchcomb.

Memorial services will be 11 a.m. MST Wednesday at the Kendall United Methodist Church in Kendall, followed by a dinner at the Kendall Community Building. The family will hold a private graveside service later that afternoon.
