Leroy Robinson, 94, died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2019, at the Edwards County Medical Center in Kinsley.
He was born Dec. 9, 1924, in Fort Scott to Ralph and Violet (VanSickle) Robinson.
A Garden City resident since 1957, he was a lifetime farmer. He was also a member of the First United Methodist Church of Garden City.
On Feb. 10, 1948, he married Margaret Ann Fitzgerald. She survives.
Other survivors include four sons, Fred (Glenda) Robinson of Colorado Springs, Colo., Ralph (Rosetta) Robinson of Garden City, Glen (Kristine) Robinson of Colorado Springs, and David (Jackie) Robinson of Holcomb; three daughters, Marjorie (Bill) Westfahl of Hutchinson, Jean(Logan) Burns of Peculiar, Mo., and Grace Ebaugh of Bethany, Okla.; 17 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Kenneth Robinson; a brother, Charles Robinson; and a great-grandson, Parker Robinson.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Valley View Cemetery in Garden City.
