HUGOTON — Maxyne Y. (Johnson) Rome, 83, died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2018.
She is survived by her daughters, Donna (John) Brower of Derby, Linda (Lenn) Stearns of Clearwater, Lois Williams of Emporia, and Laura (Geff) Luttrell of Ottawa; seven grandchildren, Brian, Nick and Dustin Williams of Emporia, Mandi (Keith) Youngers of Wichita, Kaitlin and Derek Stearns of Clearwater, and Carlee (Bailey) Grimes of Glendale, Ariz.; and three great-grandchildren, James and Loreali Roby-Williams of Emporia, and Emma Youngers of Wichita.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo E. Johnson and Neva M. (Schultz) Burgett; husband, John C. Rome; brother, Mack Johnson; and grandchild, Taralyn Stearns.
A rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, with a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, both at St. Helen Catholic Church, 1011 S. Jefferson St, Hugoton.
