HUGOTON —Van Corbett Butler, 66, died Sunday, Aug. 12, 2018 at Stevens County Hospital, Hugoton.

He was born May 17, 1952, in Denver to Carol and Betty (Christian) Butlerin.

He married Cyanna (Pace) Yuponco on June 25, 1992, in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Survivors include his wife, Cyanna Butler, of the home; a son, Cyrus Yuponco of Grants Pass, Oregon; two daughters, Melissa Dvorak of Swisher, Iowa., and Emily Whitacre of Gore, Virginia; two brothers, Steve Butler of Weldona, Colorado, and Herschel Butler of Fort Collins, Colorado; two sisters, Beth Amen of Nunn, Colorado, and Margaret Rheinhart of Gas; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will have a memorial service at 1 p.m. Saturday at My Father’s House, Hugoton.
