HUGOTON — Vida “Peggy” Brecheisen, 91, of Hooker, Oklahoma, and formerly of Hugoton, died Thursday, July 26, 2018, at Wesley Hospital in Wichita.
She was born Sept. 21, 1926, in Paonia, Colorado, to David and Sally (Reed) Wyatt.
She married James Marvin Brecheisen, Sr., on April 10, 1945 in Flagstaff, Arizona.
Survivors include a son, Jim Brecheisen of Hooker, Okla.; three brothers, Hubert Wyatt of Greenwood, Missouri, Earl Wyatt of Boliver, Missouri and Calvin Wyatt of Hoskiss, Colorado.; a sister, Marjorie Hamlin of Hooker; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Billy Joe Brecheisen; five brothers, Milton, George, Harley, Ruben and Frank Wyatt; and three sisters, Neddi Mae, Naomi Ruth and Esther.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Church of God, Hugoton. Burial will take place in the Hugoton Cemetery.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Paul’s-Robson Funeral Home, Hugoton, with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
