LEOTI — Deborah Carol Harp, 58, died Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at her home in Leoti.
She was born Nov. 23, 1959, in Marceline, Mo., to Lester James and Mildred Carolyn Hale Richardson.
A resident of Leoti since 1985, moving from Elkhart, Mrs. Harp was a certified nurse aide working at hospitals and nursing homes.
On Feb. 1, 1975, she married Richard Wayne Harp in Elkhart. He survives. Other survivors include a son, Richard W. Harp II of Eads, Colo.; a daughter, Shonda R. Taylor of Waco, Texas; three brothers, Kenneth E. Richardson of Denver, Robert M. Richardson of Longview, Wash., and James L. Richardson of Phoenix; a sister, Karen L. Wilson of Oregon; and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. Monday at Christ Covenant Church in Leoti.
There will be no visitation. Memorials to the Deborah Harp Memorial Fund may be sent in care or Price & Sons Funeral Home in Leoti.
