GCPD searches for attempted murder suspect
On May 26, at around 2 a.m., Garden City Police Department officers responded to the area of 700 E. Hazel St. regarding a drive-by shooting.
Officers met with the victims, who stated they had returned to their residence and saw a suspicious vehicle near their residence. The victims reported the vehicle pulled beside their car and fired a gun at them. The victims, including a small child, were unharmed.
The driver and person identified to having fired the gun was Jalen Paxson, 18, 609 Evans St. Paxson has not been located as of 11 a.m. on Friday.
Jaxson is wanted for alleged attempted murder in the second degree and aggravated endangering a child.
If there is information as to the whereabouts of Paxson, contact the Garden City Police Department. Do not approach Paxson, as he is considered armed and dangerous.
