GCHS to host state robotics competition

Garden City High School will host the state robotics competition from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday in Garden City High School’s main gym, 2720 Buffalo Way Blvd.


There are approximately 45 to 50 teams from across Kansas scheduled to compete during the Vex IQ robotics event.


There will be six teams, three elementary and three middle school, that will qualify and advance to the world championship.  The 2020 VEX Robotics World Championship will take place in Louisville, Kentucky April 26-28.


The event is free and open to the public to attend.
