A Satanta woman was injured Monday when her vehicle struck a piece of paving equipment sliding down Kansas Highway 90 in Seward County.

Genevieve Stanley, 90, of Satanta was driving westbound in a 2015 Cadillac XTS at about 6 p.m. when she collided with a piece of paving equipment “moving eastbound” down the highway, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.

Stanley was taken to Satanta District Hospital with a suspected minor injury. She was wearing her seat belt at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
