Steven Daniel Arteaga, 29, transient in Garden City, was arrested at 4 a.m. on allegations of fleeing or attempting to elude a law enforcement officer for at least the fifth time, aggravated assault of a law enforcement officer with a deadly weapon and possession of a stimulant and possession of an opiate opium narcotic or other certain stimulant, as well as using or possessing drug paraphernalia with the intent to use, driving under the influence, battery of a law enforcement officer and multiple probation violations.

Jade Katherine Simmons, 26, who is homeless in Garden City, was arrested at 3:19 a.m. on allegations of possessing a stimulant, possessing an opiate opium narcotic or a certain stimulant and distributing or marketing precursor for unlawful use.

Brian Scott Gilbert, 39, Lakin, was arrested at 3:30 p.m. on an allegation of possessing marijuana, as well as using or possessing drug paraphernalia with the intent to use.

Noeli Airean Fay Ortiz, 23, 211 S. 10th St., was arrested at 6:41 p.m. on allegations of making false information.

Hector Estien, 44, 1707 Benton St., was arrested at 11:42 p.m. on an allegation of possessing a stimulant, as well as allegations of possessing marijuana, using or possessing drug paraphernalia with the intent to use and interfering with a law enforcement officer.
