Artist Robin Valenzuela and writer Angie Haflich, both of Garden City, are currently presenting (r)evolve, an art exhibit with a twist, at Garden City Arts.

The exhibit features Valenzuela’s acrylic abstracts, along with prose written by Haflich. The art and the writings are about the emotions one feels before, during and after traumatic loss.

“I know how difficult it can be to lose a loved one, a job, a relationship, etc., so I hope this exhibit helps other people struggling with any of those things — to help them feel someone understands and that things will get better,” Haflich said.

The show opened April 5 and will continue on exhibit through April 27 at Garden City Arts, 318 N. Main St. Gallery hours are noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
