Garden City Community College's College Players will bring the 2018-19 season to a close next weekend with "Crimes of the Heart," a Pulitzer Prize-winning tragic comedy about three sisters facing their problems — a shot husband, a lost voice, encroaching gossip and a sick grandfather — together through the bond of family, love and tradition.

“The neat thing about this play is that it takes on some really deep issues, but still manages to find the humanity and comedy in the events,” said student Rheann Rodenbur.

The Players will perform the play April 4-7. Tickets are $10, or $8 for seniors and children 17 and under, and can be purchased in the GCCC Fine Arts office from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. or by contacting Mark Scheopner at (620) 276-9540 or Gold Pass holders will have free admission.
