Garden City Community College will partner with High Plains Public Radio and the Tumbleweed Festival to hold its first ever Living Room Concert this month, plus a series of events geared towards providing arts and humanities education and opportunities in southwest Kansas.

The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. March 21 at the Beth Tedrow Student Center Portico and feature acclaimed singer, songwriter and University of Northern Colorado folk and bluegrass instructor Martin Gilmore.

Gilmore will also hold a songwriting workshop immediately before the concert, starting at 5 p.m., and a studio seminar workshop at 10 a.m. on March 22 in the GCCC band building.

All events are open to the public and free, but donations at the concert are encouraged.
