Friday's high tops out at a cool 49 degrees, which is more than 20 degrees below the average for this time of year.

It's normally around 70 degrees, National Weather Service meteorologist Kyle Poage said.

The morning hours will see rain off and on. As of 6 a.m. Friday, Forbes Field had received 1/100th of an inch of rain, Poage said. Precipitation will diminish by this afternoon.

The next chance for rain arrives Saturday and overnight into Sunday as does a chance for snow, though it won't accumulate.

Friday night: Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 39. East wind around 5 mph becoming calm.

Saturday: Partly sunny, with a high near 58. South wind 5 to 10 mph.

Saturday night: A 40 percent chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 43. South wind around 5 mph becoming calm.

Sunday: Rain. High near 45. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent.

Sunday night: Rain likely, mixing with snow after midnight, then gradually ending. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 32. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.
