Kansas Supreme Court closes valve in protracted dispute on illegal hog-effluent pipeline

The Kansas Supreme Court unanimously affirmed two lower court decisions that found prominent northwest Kansas farmer Terry Nelson broke trespass and nuisance laws by building a hog sewage pipeline along public roads on property owned by two neighbors without consent of those landowners or local government.
