Kansas legislative committee jumps into battle over selection of Medicaid contractors

Brenda Landwehr, the Wichita Republican who leads the joint House-Senate oversight committee dedicated to Medicaid issues, pressed the Kansas Department of Health and Environment to justify ouster of one of three insurance companies providing managed-care services to 450,000 Medicaid recipients in Kansas.
