Orvillene E. Williams, 96, died Friday, Dec. 12, 2014, at the Homestead Assisted Living Center in Garden City. She was born April 9, 1918, in Pratt to Pete and Nelle Hughes Smith.
A lifetime resident of Garden City, Orvillene worked as a beautician and a clerk. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, the Order of the Eastern Star and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, all in Garden City.
She married Charles H. “Tod” Williams in Garden City. He died Sept. 27, 1991, in Garden City. Also preceding her in death were her parents, a grandson and a sister.
Survivors include two sons, Chuck Williams, Garden City and Phil Williams, Stephenville, Texas; one daughter, Patti and her husband, Jim Allen, Garden City; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Price & Sons Funeral Home, Garden City. Funeral is 10:30 a.m. Friday at the First United Methodist Church, Garden City. Burial is at Valley View Cemetery, Garden City.
