Fulton House tours: Tours of the historic 1884 William Fulton House, 2 to 4 p.m. today and Sunday southwest of the Finney County Museum inside Lee Richardson Zoo.

Harvest Flea Market: Featuring a farmers market and flea market experience with vendors offering food, furniture, artwork and more, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at the west end of the parking lot at the Finney County Fairgrounds, 920 W. Musical variety program: Featuring "The Copeland, Ks. Salem Mennonite Singers," 7 p.m. at Garden Valley Retirement Village, 1505 E. Spruce St. Open to the public at no charge.


Mexican Fiesta: Featuring a scholarship pageant at 7 p.m. Sept. 7 in the auditorium of the Pauline Joyce Fine Arts Building at Garden City Community College; a parade at 10 a.m. Sept. 8, running north to south on Main Street in Garden City; plus numerous activities, food and live music in Stevens Park at 11 a.m. Sept. 8. Friends of Lee Richardson Zoo’s “A Wild Affair”: Featuring live music by Mike Benish and the Buckner Creek Band, adult beverages, food samples from restaurants and caterers from southwest Kansas, and unique items available at a live and silent auction, all on the West Green of the zoo.
