Art in the Park: Featuring wares for sale from local and area artists and craftsmen, live musical and visual performances in the bandshell, and free arts and crafts projects for the family at the northeast corner of Stevens Park in downtown Garden City. There also will be various food vendors stationed on Heroes Way, south of the park. Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Harvest Flea Market: Featuring a farmers market and flea market experience with vendors offering food, furniture, artwork and more, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at the west end of the parking lot at the Finney County Fairgrounds, 920 W. Silver Screen Saturday Night: Featuring the movie “Alice Through The Looking Glass,” 9:15 p.m. at Stevens Park in downtown Garden City.

Free concert: Featuring "Fulton Street Band," 6:30 p.m. at Stevens Park in downtown Garden City.

Musical variety program: Featuring Clay Davenport, a guitarist and vocalist from Lakin, 7 p.m. at Garden Valley Retirement Village, 1505 E. Spruce St. Open to the public at no charge.


Business After Hours: Featuring appetizers, prize giveaways and live entertainment from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at High Plains Public Radio, 210 N. Seventh St. Entertainers are Ruth Ellen Lynch, a jazz singer from Amarillo, Texas; and Stephen Johnson, a pianist from Garden City.


“Fourth of July Follies” Family Fun Night: Featuring inflatables, carnival games, drawings, swimming, crafts, prizes, and complimentary hot dogs, chips and drinks, 7 to 9 p.m. at the Garden City Family YMCA, 1224 Center St. All area families are invited to attend, regardless of membership status. Hours at the Finney County Health Department, 919 Zerr Road, and WIC are 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday; closed on Friday.
