* Nursing and Allied Health
* Science and Mathematics
* Social Science
* Technical Education and
* Continuing Education.
This will be the 94th consecutive fall term at GCCC. Our advisors and counselors are on duty this week from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. every day to help you get enrolled in a course of study that can improve life for your family and yourself. Next week from Aug. 20 to 22, we'll be accepting late enrollments and are working extended hours from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. to make it easier for you to register.
The college's mission is to produce people who contribute positively to society and the economy. The statement of mission is linked to five key "ends" of objectives, which are:
* Essential skills
* Academic advancement
* Work preparedness
* Personal enrichment
* Workforce development.
Our students' ambitions are found within those objectives as they master the skills it takes to succeed in today's workforce and economy. If you want a college degree, career certification or technical credentials, GCCC provides learning opportunities so you can explore and expand your prospects.
Whether you aspire to being an emergency responder, a medical professional or a teacher, GCCC has the classes for you. Our alumni range from accountants and administrators, artists and attorneys to business owners and managers, counselors and contractors. Our graduates — whether they transfer to a four-year university or enter the workforce immediately — are positively contributing to our society as cosmetologists, coaches, doctors, farmers, journalists, mechanics, musicians, stock brokers, industrial technicians and welders. GCCC Broncbusters also have gone on to serve as leaders at every level from locally elected commissions to state and federal government.
There's still time to get started on your educational journey this fall. To enroll, come to the Student and Community Services Center on the east side of campus, just off Campus Drive. The SCSC conveniently houses admissions, registrar, counseling and advising, the business office and financial aid so you just have one stop.
