Whitney Love and Andrew Parr, both of Hutchinson, were married Aug. 6, 2011, at Bible Christian Church in Garden City. The 5:30 p.m. ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Jeff Starkey.
The bride's parents are Bryan and Geneen Love of Garden City; and Jeff and Kathy Hamilton of Dodge City. Her grandparents are Betty Wheeler and late Dean Wheeler of Dodge City; and Carl Love and late Marilyn Love of Montezuma.
The groom's parents are Mark and Gina Parr of Garden City. His grandparents are Nola and Allen Wiseman of Morrison, Mo.; and the late Gordon Parr of Hanston, and Lyle and Glennis Boyd of Oakley.
Matron of honor was the bride's sister, Chastin Hoffhines of Tonganoxie. Bridesmaids were Megan Tammen of Kansas City, Mo.; Christi Koontz of Wichita; and Kayla Durler of Hays.
Best man was Tanner Parr, the groom's brother from Manhattan. Groomsmen were Mitchell Parr, the groom's brother from Fort Worth, Texas; Drew McNutt of Amarillo, Texas; and Jake Hoffhines of Tonganoxie.
Candlelighters were Annalise Parr, the groom's sister from Garden City; and Amelia Thomas, the bride's cousin from Garden City.
Flower girls were Kinnley Hoffhines, the bride's niece from Tonganoxie; and Piper Parr, the groom's niece from Fort Worth. Ringbearers were Kolton Hoffhines, the bride's nephew from Tonganoxie; and Adler Koontz of Wichita.
Serving as ushers were the bride's cousins, Garrett Love of Montezuma, Ben Love of Wichita, and Austin Love of Topeka; and the groom's cousins, Brady and Aaron Ziesch, both of Wichita.
Soloists were Jenna Farmer, the bride's cousin from Kansas City, Kan.; and Neal Dohrmann of Atlanta.
The ceremony was followed by a reception, given by the bride's parents, at the Clarion Inn in Garden City.
The bride is a 2009 graduate of Kansas State University, with a degree in family studies and human services and is now attending Hutchinson Community College of Physical Therapist Assistant.
The groom is a 2010 graduate of Wichita State University with a degree in business finance. He is a financial controller at Wifco Steel Products.
Due to the bride's schooling, they have delayed their honeymoon to St. Lucia until January 2012.
