It will be a new start for the Ingalls Bulldogs.

Of course, as of late, that's nothing new at Ingalls, who will begin the season with its third head coach in the last four years. Roger Thurlow, the school's girls basketball coach takes over for Steven Doll, who went 0-9 in the one season at Ingalls.

"We are definitely hoping to bounce back after last season," Thurlow said. "Our goals are to become a competitive team that works harder and improves each week."

The Bulldogs will be led by three seniors fullback/linebacker Matt Snyder (6-1, 187), guard/tackle Rex Harshbarger (6-1, 220) and center/linebacker Dakota Littrell (5-8, 146).

"We do not have any blazing speed or great size, but we have a lot of good athletes who are working to become good football players," Thurlow said.

Sophomore Landon Vanderree will in charge of the offense at quarterback. Thurlow also is counting on getting contributions from junior halfback Dalton Brooks and junior tight end/nose guard David Minet.

Along with the three seniors, the Bulldogs have plenty of underclassmen which consists of seven sophomores and four freshmen.
