Zoo awarded for distance learning

Lee Richardson Zoo has received the Center for Interactive Learning and Collaboration’s (CILC) 2020-2021 Pinnacle Award for the 10th time for its Distance Learning program. To receive the Pinnacle Award, organizations must score 95% or above for the entire year on the evaluations of their Distance Learning programs.

Diana Kay (Imhof) Jones

Diana Kay (Imhof) Jones was born in Goodland, Kansas, on February 16, 1944, and died on November 28, 2021, in Plymouth, Minnesota, after a 6+ year battle with dementia. She is survived by son Logan Jones, of Jacksonville, Florida, and daughter Kamela (Jones) Lupino, of Maple Grove, Minnesota. Additional survivors include Logan’s wife, Amy O’Halloran and their kids, Liam, Aidan and Sadie; Kamela’s husband, Jim Lupino; Diana’s ex-husband, Dave Jones, of Garden City, Kansas, who in her final years was one of her best friends; her mother, MinnieBelle (Imhof) Jones, of Goodland, Kansas; and siblings Priscilla Daniels (Great Bend, Kansas), Ruth Blythe (Tulsa, Oklahoma), Lowell Imhof (Omaha, Nebraska) and Debbie Griffith (Goodland, Kansas).
