Mass of Christian Burial for Thomas “Tom” Michael Hilger, 76, Lawrence, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 29, 2022 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Lawrence. Burial with full military honors will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Thomas passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Kansas City VA Hospital in Kansas City, MO.

Beverly Sharp of Overland Park, by way of Garden City, KS and Sedalia, MO joined her Creator on January 22, 2022. A “LDYNRED”-themed memorial service (please wear red) will be held on Saturday, April 2, 4:00 pm at Asbury United Methodist Church.

Betty Jane McLinn, 97, of Garden City, died on Sunday, January 23, 2022, at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. She was born October 30, 1924 in Rural Kearny County, Kansas the daughter of Michael & Rachel (Cooper) Killfoil.

Loren Huckstadt, 72, retired WSU Police Sergeant, passed away January 22nd after a courageous battle with Lymphoma. Loren served in the Marine Corps, and was a sharp-shooter, pilot, master gunsmith and historian. He graduated from Wichita State University in Criminal Justice and graduate studies in history. Bradley Demont Kepley, 67, of Kansas City, Kansas passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, January 7, 2022. He will forever be remembered as a devoted father, loving companion, papa, baba, brother, cousin and friend to everyone he knew.
