Mass of Christian Burial for Thomas “Tom” Michael Hilger, 76, Lawrence, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 29, 2022 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Lawrence. Burial with full military honors will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Thomas passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Kansas City VA Hospital in Kansas City, MO.

Loren Huckstadt, 72, retired WSU Police Sergeant, passed away January 22nd after a courageous battle with Lymphoma. Loren served in the Marine Corps, and was a sharp-shooter, pilot, master gunsmith and historian. He graduated from Wichita State University in Criminal Justice and graduate studies in history.
