Lopez, Rodriguez lead Buffaloes to 4th

The opening weekend of the 2021- 2022 high school wrestling season proved to be a successful and promising one for the Garden City High School program. The Buffalo boys traveled to the Battle of the Best at Pine Creek High School in Colorado Springs, where they placed fourth out of 21 teams in the two-day opening salvo of the new season.

Big 12 tabs K-State’s Anudike-Uzomah for DL award

Kansas State defensive end Felix Anudike-Uzomah was named Big 12 co-defensive lineman of the year Thursday in a vote by the 10 conference head coaches. Anudike-Uzomah, a 6-foot-3, 252-pound sophomore from Lee’s Summit, Missouri, also was one of four Wildcats named to the all-conference first team, along with offensive tackle Cooper Beebe, defensive back Russ Yeast and kick returner Malik Knowles.
