TOPEKA - There is always a reality check when the Garden City High School girls’ swimming team heads to the Class 6A state swimming meet to cap off the spring season.
SCOTT CITY – The Holcomb High School boys’ track and field team came away with a narrow victory May 22 over Lakin in a Class 3A regional meet at Scott City on their quest to repeat as the state champion.
HILL CITY – Sublette High School’s Ashton Koehn led the boys’ track and field team with a first place finish in the high jump May 22 at a Class 2A regional meet at Hill City. He leaped 6-0 for the win which ws the lone title for area teams.
ANDALE - Ulysses and Hugoton High Schools traveled to Andale on May 22 to compete in a Class 4A regional track and field meet.
