Today, a slightly nervous young woman is going to walk into a classroom of faces looking back at her, wondering who she is and what’s she doing in their class. That slightly nervous young woman is my daughter-in-law, Anna, and those fourth-grade faces don’t know it yet, but they are going to love her.

Rest and relaxation important through the holiday season

The holiday season is full of parties, concerts, ball games and (for college students) finals. With all the hustle and bustle of the activities it is sure to make one exhausted and irritable. If you are fortunate to have some time off during the holidays, or even if you don’t get time off, take some time to rest and relax. Scheduling time for some R and R during the holidays can make a difference in how you relate to others and how well you enjoy your time with family and friends.
