On Friday, we will celebrated Endangered Species Day at the zoo! This special day was set aside to educate people about endangered species and to help inspire conservation actions that will help these marvelous creatures around the world. It also is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the success stories of endangered species that are inching closer to being off the endangered species list.
Dear Amy: My girlfriend hosts birthday parties for her grandchildren every year, and on the invitation she asks that we bring a dish in exchange for a raffle ticket. She has a raffle at the end of the party for something that is not of great value.
