ASKING ERIC: Windfall could keep loved one alive, but at what cost?

Dear Eric: The most important family member to me is my brother, the only person who’s been there since my birth and never let me down. We’re both retired, and he’s very, very sick, partly from past addictions. His insurance company kicked him off getting any more of his last chance medication that could give him another one to five years of life, partly because of his own bad choices.

HEART OF A TIGER: VIP Ambassadors gain insight, give back to FHSU community

HAYS - The VIP Ambassador Program at Fort Hays State University, established by President Gerald Tomanek in 1982, empowers students to publicly represent their university while fostering a spirit of connection among these talented future leaders. Each year, a select group of 15-20 VIP Ambassadors participate in significant projects and events, gaining invaluable experiences along the way.
