Kathleen Ann Hill “Kathy

Kathleen Ann Hill “Kathy”, age 68, of Satanta, Kansas passed from this life on to her eternal life on December 18th, 2022, in Norman, Oklahoma. Kathy was born December 14th, 1954, in Aurora, Colorado, to Martha Ann Smith. She spent her childhood in Guymon, Oklahoma, and was raised by her loving grandparents Carl and Bea Grove. In 1971, Kathy married Johnny Davidson in Guymon, Oklahoma, and out of this union were two children, Jacki, and Harley Davidson. Kathy raised her two oldest children in Guymon, Oklahoma, and Moscow, Kansas. VisitationwillbeheldWednesday, December 21, 2022, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Thursday, December 22, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. with family receiving friends 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Robson Funeral Home, Satanta. The funeral service will be held Friday, December 23, 2022, at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Satanta with Pastor Rod Klingsick presiding. Burial to follow at Haskell County Cemetery.

Gilbert L. Widows

Salina- Gilbert L. Widows, 68, passed away Friday, December 16, 2022 at his home in Salina, KS. Gilbert was born July 5, 1954 in Garden City, KS to Gilbert R. and Claradella (Horton) Widows. He graduated from Garden City High School in 1972. On August 15, 1972, Gilbert enlisted in the United States Army and served in the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged on August 14, 1975. Gilbert was a mechanic in the auto industry and was vet tech in the feed lot industry. Gilbert is survived by his son, Raymond Widows; two sisters, Sue (Michael) Hahn and Joyce Roberts; one brother, Thomas Widows; two granddaughters, Brynne and Sadie Widows; four nieces, two nephews, six great nieces and one great-great niece. He is preceded by his parents; and two sisters, Jackie Widows and Shelly Belen. Per Gilberts wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a Celebration of Life held at a later date. Memorial Contributions are suggested to Friends of Sand Sage Bison or Interim Hospice and can be sent in care of Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave. Hutchinson, KS 67502.

Donald R. Lear, 92, died Sunday, December 18, 2022, at his home in rural Garden City. He was born on July 18, 1930, in Garden City, Kansas, the son of JT & Louie Alice (Trissell) Lear. A Celebration of Donald’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 22, 2022, at Pierceville Federated Church in Pierceville, Kansas with Pastor Mike MacWhinnie and Pastor Terry Major officiating. A private family interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Gardens prior to the service. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City and the family will be at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. to visit with friends.
