He was born on March 4, 1941 in Fort Scott, KS, the son of Aldon & Mary (Canaday) Nuzum. On July 3, 1960, he married Shirley J. Galliart and the two were married for 25 years. On January 6, 1990 he married Barbara Sandoval Faulconer on January 6, 1990 in Garden City.
