Argueta receives KU Courtwright award

LAWRENCE — A University of Kansas student who is researching the theory that active galactic nuclei (AGNs) can significantly influence galaxy morphology is the summer/fall 2024 recipient of the Courtwright award for Undergraduate Research Excellence through KU’s Center for Undergraduate Research and Fellowships.

LiveWell Finney County selected for BCBSKS initiative

TOPEKA - Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas (BCBSKS) announces it has selected the LiveWell Finney County Community Health Coalition (LiveWell) in Finney County, as a grantee for its third phase of the Pathways to a Healthy Kansas (Pathways) initiative. BCBSKS will partner with 19 community coalitions to improve healthy eating, active living, commercial tobacco prevention and mental health.
