The Finney County Commission approved a resolution establishing an Immediate Urban Growth Area and adopted the use of some city of Garden City regulations to be used within the area regarding development at its May 19 meeting.
The USD 457 Board of Education approved a District Alternative Education Placement for students referred to expulsion hearings at its regular meeting on May 19.
The Garden City Public Schools USD 457 Educational Support Center, 1205 N. Fleming St., will be changing its days of operation during the summer. The center will be closed on Friday afternoons during the summer starting the week of June 2 and going to July 18.
