January is National Radon Month so I wanted to take one week of this month to do a column on radon and try to answer some questions about what radon is, where it comes from, how does it affect me and how to get rid of it. SWKS COVID-19 UPDATE
Finney County has added 21 new positive confirmed COVID-19 cases with an overall total of 13,204 as of Jan. 3, with a decrease to 76 active positive cases being monitored.
Early childhood screening clinic taking appointments
USD 457 will hold a free developmental screening clinic for children three to five years of age, who are Garden City residents. The clinic will be held on Friday, Jan. 20 and take place at the Garfield Early Childhood Center, 121 W. Walnut St.
