Elizabeth Osawamick, 68, of Lansing, Mich., died Sunday, Dec. 28, 2014.
She was born April 29, 1946, in Smiley, Texas, to Ramon and Elizabeth H. Perez. She lived in Garden City before moving to Michigan in 1977 to be closer to family.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Osawamick, whom she married in 1981; five daughters, Rosie Sauceda Arteaga and Elizabeth Sauceda, both of Garden City, and Ruby Dean, Emma Martinez and Jessica Martinez, all of Lansing; four sons, Placido Sauceda Jr., David Sauceda, Lucas Martinez and Mario Martinez, all of Lansing; 26 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Emma Perez of Grand Rapids, Mich., Dora Herrada and Mary Castaneda, both of Garden City, and Ella Cruz of Kansas City, Kan.; and five brothers, Frank Perez of Roswell, N.M., Chris Perez of Seguin, Texas, John Perez of Shallow Water, Raymond Perez of Oklahoma City, and Ruben Perez of Dodge City. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Anita Sauceda; and two brothers, Robert and Ben.
Funeral will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at Skinner Funeral Home, Lansing Chapel.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the rosary being prayed at 7 p.m. Condolences may be made at www.SkinnerFuneralHome.com.
