Garden City High School soon will be administering the PLAN exam to interested sophomore students.

The deadline to register for the exam is Wednesday.

The PLAN exam will be administered from 8 to 11:30 a.m. Nov. 20 at

the Clarion Inn, 1911 E. Kansas Avenue. The fee is $13, payable when the

student registers.

The PLAN exam, which is a college and career readiness test, is a

good way for students to prepare for the ACT test. It covers the same

subjects and gives students an estimated ACT score.

The PLAN exam also lets students know if they are on track for

college, points out their academic strengths, areas they need to improve

and helps students find careers that match their interests.
