Garden City Community College celebrates the achievements of 12 local high school students who recently earned technical program certificates courtesy of the statewide initiative “Excel in CTE.” Formerly known as Senate Bill 155, this legislation covers tuition costs for high school students enrolled in career and technical education (CTE) college-level courses in Kansas.This year, two local high school students completed the 17-credit hour Certificate A in Early Childhood Education through the Excel in CTE program.
