Garden City Community College Theatre program has announced the second production of their 2024-25 year, âAgnes of Godâ by John Pielmeier, which will play in the KCB Bank Auditorium in the Pauline Joyce Fine Arts Building on the GCCC campus, Jan. 30 to Feb. 1, and Feb. 6 â 8. Performances will all be at 7 p.m.
The USD 457 Virtual Academy had a number of students graduate from the school during the first semester of the 2024-25 school year.

The world learned a significant lesson about the importance of personal hygiene during the COVID-19 pandemic. Apart from getting vaccinated, one of the single-best things people could do to prevent the transmission of the virus was to wash their hands thoroughly throughout the day, particularly after touching surfaces at stores, schools and other public places. The importance of handwashing is one of the earliest hygiene lessons children learn.

The American Legion Boys State of Kansas is accepting applications for its 2025 session. The event is set to be held Sunday, June 1, through Saturday, June 7, at Kansas State University in Manhattan. This will be the programâs 33rd consecutive session at KSU and 87th overall.
