Area high school girls’ wrestling teams competed in regional competitions last weekend to determine who will advance to the state tournaments Feb. 28 and March 1. The top eight finishers in a given regional will advance to the state competition as well as the top three teams.
Lakin, Holcomb boys pick up wins
With the extreme cold temperatures moving into southwest Kansas early Tuesday morning, several area high school basketball teams moved their games scheduled for Tuesday to Monday to try and beat the cold.
