HAYS - You can usually find him holding court in Gross Memorial Coliseum and the Max Jones Fieldhouse at Fort Hays Tech | Northwest in Goodland and roaming the campus of Fort Hays Tech | North Central. He’s Victor E. Tiger, our beloved mascot, and right now, he is looking forward to his 25th birthday bash at the Tiger’s basketball game on Feb. 22.

KANSASWORKS hosting weekend virtual job fair

TOPEKA – Lieutenant Governor and Secretary of Commerce David Toland has announce the first-ever weekend job fair. Jobseekers and employers of all industries are encouraged to take part in the virtual job fair, hosted by KANSASWORKS, started at 7:30 a.m. Friday and runs through 9 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 23.

According to The North American Invasive Species Management Association (NAISMA), National Invasive Species Awareness Week (NISAW) is an international event to raise awareness about invasive species, the threat they can pose, and what can be done to prevent their spread. The week takes place during the last week of February, this year, running from Feb. 24 - 28.

ASKING ERIC: Couple reaches stalemate over divorce

Dear Eric: I told my husband I was done in our marriage during a marriage-counseling session close to nine months ago. This was our second round of marriage counseling. I have also done some therapy on my own. I have not taken any actions to indicate I’m done other than to occasionally remind my husband that I’m the one that wants out when he thinks things are harmonious.
