GCHS girls’ basketball goes 1-1 in WAC road games

The Garden City Community College men’s basketball team picked up a road win at Concordia over Cloud County on Thursday, but then fell to Cowley County at home on Saturday.
The Garden City Community College women’s basketball team came up empty in the win column last week as they dropped a contest at Concordia against Cloud County on Thursday, then turnovers proved costly on Saturday at home in a loss to Cowley County.

Garden City Community College President Ryan Ruda covered GCCC data at the college’s Board of Trustee’s regular meeting on Thursday.
There will be no school for students at Garden City Public Schools USD 457 on Thursday, Feb. 27, and Friday, Feb. 28, for parent teacher conferences. School will be back in session on Monday, March 3.
