Paul Schuyler Jennison, 70, died Thursday, Nov. 20, 2014, at his home in Concord, Calif., after battling several forms of cancer for eight years.
He was born May 11, 1944, in Ransom, to Robert H. and Tillie H. Jennison. He graduated from Healy High School in 1962.
Mr. Jennison retired from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., a career he began in Washington, D.C., and which took him back to Kansas and to California. He ended his nearly 30-year career with the FDIC in 1994, retiring as the assistant regional director for the western region. He continued to serve as a banking consultant until his death.
Survivors include a sister, Karen Jennison of Greeley, Colo.; two daughters, Beth Proia of Concord, and Stephanie Welgan of Portland, Ore.; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wannapha, in May 2012, and by his parents.
A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. Jan. 24, 2015, at Ouimet Brothers’ Funeral Chapel in Concord.
