Virginia Ray Cauthon, 84, died Monday, February 13, 2023, at the Tonganoxie Terrace Nursing Home in Tonganoxie, Kansas. She was born October 14, 1938, in Pawnee, Oklahoma, the daughter of Ray & Irene (Hart) Spellman.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 24, 2023, at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City with Pastor Bob Bates officiating. Burial will follow at the Syracuse Cemetery in Syracuse, Kansas. Friends may call from Noon to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Funeral Home in Garden City. The family suggests memorials given to the Alzheimer’s Association in care of the funeral home.
