HOLCOMB — Bryan Mader, 47, died Monday, Dec. 29, 2014, at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City.
He was born April 15, 1967, in Garden City, to Leonard J. and Donna J. Clark Mader. He graduated from Holcomb High School in 1985.
In April 1995, he married Lori Wood in Garden City. They later divorced.
A lifetime resident of Finney County, Mr. Mader started farming with his father and then worked in other agriculture-related jobs.
Survivors include a son, Thomas Mader of Chapman; a stepson, Matt Farrant of Batesburg, S.C.; a stepdaughter, Emily Farrant of Chapman; his mother, Donna Mader of Holcomb; a brother, Robbie Mader of Holcomb; and three sisters, Susan Wieland of Ulysses, Shelly Grauberger of Omaha, Neb., and Jackie Barlow of Holcomb. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Wes Mader.
A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. Friday at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City. Burial will be at Valley View Cemetery in Garden City.
