Betty L. Caldwell
ULYSSES — Betty L. Caldwell, 89, Ulysses, died Friday, Dec. 26, 2014, at Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital in Ulysses.
She was born on Dec. 18, 1925, to James Loyd and Salome Pudge Livesay in Stanton County.
She married Harry H. Caldwell Jr. on Feb. 7, 1942, in Garden City. He preceded her in death.
She was a lifetime resident of Grant County.
Survivors include two sons, Jerry K. Caldwell and Randall L. Caldwell, both of Ulysses; two daughters, Wanda J. Holland of Oktaha, Okla., and Janet E. Rollick of Surprise, Ariz.; one brother, Charles Livesay; three sisters, Glynns Parsons of Lewisville, Texas, Grace Willis of Tucson, Ariz., and Ann DeMoss of Morgan Hill, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one grandson, Eric Holland; three sisters, Virginia Rose, Maxine Cahoun and Audrey Livesay; and two brothers, James and Tom Livesay.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Shelton Memorial Christian Church in Ulysses.
Burial will take place in the Shockey Cemetery in Ulysses.
Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Monday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Grant County Funeral Home.
